Nothing like knitting with 800 friends…

Last weekend was World Wide Knit in Public Day and boy was it a stitchin’ success.  Knitters were out and about in full force all around the country. More than 800 people came down to knit, chat and enjoy the winter sunshine in Federation Square in Melbourne.

Thanks to everyone who knitted in public last weekend. Here are some photos and a snippet of our Born to Knit debut on Channel 7. We had a ball (a knitted one of course). Thanks for your support of our Born to Knit campaign.

  1. hi, I was unable to participate in the Born to Knit Day but have organised my facebook friends to start clacking away to see what we can produce. This is our first effort with more to come. (The girls have had a ball! pun intended 😉
