Children received blankets through Save the Children’s Intensive Supported Playscheme in South Australia!

Save the Children’s Playscheme Program runs regular playgroups providing play-based learning experiences that promote development in early years.

Intensive Supported Playschemes have Family Support Workers, who provide extra support, advice and links to services when needed.

The Playscheme Program runs in over 80 locations around Australia and reach disadvantaged communities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and newly arrived migrant and refugee families.

Thanks to all our wonderful supporters for knitting blankets that will help keep these children warm this winter!

Happy knitting!

  1. The little fellow in the blue jacket seems very happy with his green and pink blanket, it’s lovely to see. My first one should be finished in about a week.
