A Blanket update from the 2011 Born to Knit Campaign

All blankets knitted by our fantastic volunteers each year go to babies and young children in need, locally and abroad.

Last year’s Born to Knit Campaign saw 4000 blankets distributed across 53 health centres in Cambodia.

These are pictures of some grateful mothers and children who received blankets from the 2011 campaign. Ensuring that young children are kept warm could help to prevent diseases like pneumonia and the common cold. Your knitted donations make a real difference in communities.

The Born to Knit Team are keeping busy counting and sorting all of your wonderfully donated knitted blankets and squares as we conclude Born to Knit in 2012. Keep following our blog to find out where your blankets will be sent to this year.
